International Conference

International Conference
”EDUCATION FOR DEMOCRACY.
ECONOMIC, HUMANISTIC, AND SOCIOPOLITICAL PROBLEMS”

Warsaw (Poland), April, 2023

Underlying ASSUMPTION
In order to be genuinely democratic, the conference needs to take into consideration multiple perspectives. Its basic premise is that representatives of various disciplines and walks of life differ in their beliefs, actions, affect, and their concept of democracy, and thus offer different answers to the fundamental questions: What do you think of democracy?, What do you do for democracy?, How do you feel about democracy?, and How do you understand democracy? Accordingly, the conference will gather a wide range of experts with their complementary perspectives.

Major AIM
We hope of establish an interdsciplinary and cross-sectional hub running joint studies and ongoing cooperation with a view to promoting democracy and democratic education within Poland, Europe, and other continents. Observing current events and tendencies in many a state these days, we view it as absolutely necessary to undertake educational, social, and scientific initiatives meant to defend and foster democracy in all the places where it is violated or threatened. This ambitious aim can only be attained through active involvement of well-informed citizens.

Envisaged PARTICIPANTS
We invite all SCIENTISTS & ACTIVISTS, ACADEMICS & SOCIAL WORKERS, THEORETICIANS & PRACTITIONERS, TEACHERS & LEARNERS willing to contribute to pro-democratic changes and to share their own perspectve & work.

Intended OUTCOME
